TERRA is my first vocal record, originally released in 1987 on cassette tape only. The songs were written in my early 20's and reflect a time of spiritual awakening and intensified love of life after almost dying. These songs span a couple years before and after becoming a disciple of OSHO and taking on the name Antar Sudhananda which translates to inner pure bliss in sanskrit. TERRA is latin for Earth. I never did much of anything with the recording as I wasn't happy with the production quality. It was self financed on a shoe string budget and I cut to many corners. TERRA was my attempt at the time to bridge the gap between New Age and Folk Pop music using my songs with conscious, life affirming, positive lyrics. I love the songs on TERRA and always wanted to rework and regenerate it and make available on CD and digital download. So, I am happy to finally release a new and improved TERRA. I feel the content and message of these songs is ageless so it is still relevant for today. I transferred the original 1/2 inch 8 track analogue tapes to digital and went about, editing, fixing and cleaning up tracks and re-recorded most of my guitars and vocals. It has become the recording I originally intended it to be. Hope you will enjoy this musical offering that is so close to my heart.
